Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use Modloom. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Modloom. How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

1. The service

Modloom is an AI-assisted tool for creating Minecraft server plugins. You describe a plugin, an AI agent writes the project files, builds them in an isolated sandbox and gives you the compiled .jar. You can also edit the code, keep projects in workspaces, sync them to GitHub and pay for larger limits.

Modloom builds plugins; it does not host game servers, and testing plugins on a game server is not part of the service. Some features depend on how the service is configured and may be unavailable at times. We may change, add or remove features.

2. Accounts and workspaces

You sign in with a GitHub or Discord account. You must be at least 16 years old, and old enough to enter a binding contract where you live, to use Modloom. Keep your sign-in secure; you are responsible for what happens under your account.

Projects live in workspaces. The workspace owner manages billing and members, and members can see and change that workspace's projects. If you invite someone, you are responsible for who you invite.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Modloom to:

  • create malware, backdoors, credential stealers or code meant to damage, take over or spy on a server, player or computer;
  • attack, probe or disrupt servers or services you don't own or have permission to test;
  • break the law, infringe other people's rights, or violate Minecraft's EULA and usage guidelines;
  • bypass or abuse usage limits, plans, rate limits or the sandbox, or attempt to escape or misuse the build environment;
  • overload the service or interfere with other users.

Requests are screened automatically for abuse. If we believe you broke these rules we may block a request, suspend or ban your account and remove content, with or without notice where the risk is serious.

4. Your content and generated code

You keep ownership of what you submit (prompts, files, attachments) and, as between you and Modloom, of the code the service generates for you. You give us the limited right to store, process and send that content to the model and infrastructure providers needed to run your requests, as described in the Privacy Policy. You promise you have the right to submit it.

Generated code can be wrong, insecure or behave differently than you expected, and a successful build only means it compiled. Review it and test it before using it on a server with real players. Similar output may be generated for other users. Generated projects can pull in third-party libraries with their own licenses, and you are responsible for complying with them.

5. Plans, credits and payment

Every workspace has a plan. Limits (Modloom Credits, build minutes and storage) are shown on the pricing section of the home page and in your billing page; credits and build minutes reset weekly and unused amounts don't carry over. Different models use credits at different rates.

Paid plans are monthly subscriptions that renew automatically until cancelled, billed through Stripe in the currency shown at checkout. Prices include taxes only where stated. You can cancel in the billing page; a paid plan then stays active until the end of the period you paid for, and downgrades take effect at the end of that period.

If you are a consumer in the EU, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. Because a paid plan gives you immediate access to a digital service, by starting to use it you ask us to begin straight away and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully provided or, for a service you use during the withdrawal period, you may owe a proportionate amount. Other than where the law requires it, payments aren't refundable. We may change prices or limits with advance notice; a change applies from your next billing period.

6. Third-party services

Modloom relies on services such as GitHub, Discord, Stripe and AI model providers. Your use of them is also governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or conduct. Modloom is not an official Minecraft product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Mojang, Microsoft, PaperMC, Purpur or SpigotMC.

7. Suspension and ending your account

You can stop using Modloom at any time and delete your account and data from your account settings. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms, put the service or others at risk, or if required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as liability and governing law) continue after your account ends.

8. Warranties and liability

Modloom is provided “as is” and “as available”. We don't promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free or that generated plugins will fit your purpose or be free of defects or vulnerabilities.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data or damage to your server, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including liability for intent or gross negligence, and your rights as a consumer under mandatory law remain unaffected.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. For material changes we will give notice in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use Modloom after that means you accept the new terms.

10. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Poland. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and disputes are heard by the courts that have jurisdiction under those laws.
